Design meaning
This mug features the Shipibo pattern Mayá Kené, based on an Icaro sung while decorating the faces of young people coming of age. The pattern was worn as a sign of strength, clarity and dignity — a visual expression of who you are and what you stand for. At the centre you see a shape reminiscent of a cross, but in this context it is not a religious symbol: it stands for balance and identity.
